From enquiry to invoice

Describe the work
Write to the business mailbox with what needs doing, where it is, and when you need it. Photographs help; a full specification is not required.

The job is scoped
We confirm what is included, what is not, what materials are needed, and who is qualified to carry it out. Anything that needs a site visit gets one.
- 03
You get it in writing
A written quote: the price, what it covers, the schedule, and the terms. Nothing starts until you have accepted it.
- 04
The crew works, then you are invoiced
Work is carried out to the agreed scope and invoiced against it. Changes are re-quoted before they are carried out, never after.

Opening The Services counter is taking enquiries and building its roster of contractors and crews. Standing rates and same-week availability are not yet published, and nothing on this page should be read as a guaranteed price or date until it is in an accepted written quote.

- Chicago and the surrounding Illinois suburbs. Work outside that radius is quoted case by case.
- Who does the work
- Contractors and crews engaged by Monark Commerce for the job. Licensed trades — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing — are carried out by contractors holding the licence that work requires.
- Licensing & insurance
- To be confirmed — the roster is being verified, and the licence and insurance held for each trade will be published here rather than described in general terms.
- Rates
- To be confirmed — hourly and day rates are quoted per job today. A published rate card follows once the roster is settled.
- Permits
- Where a permit is required, the quote says who is pulling it and whether its cost is included.
- Payment
- Invoiced against the accepted quote. Deposit terms, if any, are stated in the quote itself and never charged before it is accepted.
- Changes to scope
- Re-quoted in writing before the additional work begins.
